Shahid Kapoor, who is excited about the release of his new movie Deva, recently said that his character in this film is very different from his role as Kabir Singh. While both characters are “aggressive,” Shahid explained that Deva is unique and unlike any character he has played before.
In Deva, Shahid plays a smart but rebellious police officer, and the movie also stars Pooja Hegde as a journalist. While Kabir Singh was known for being intense, Shahid made it clear that there is no Kabir Singh in Deva. He also joked that there could never be a fight between Deva and Kabir Singh since he has played both roles.
Pooja Hegde, speaking about the film’s promotion, mentioned that Shahid is a “good therapist” who inspired her with his talks about life and career. She also shared that she carefully chooses roles that make her feel happy as an actor, and she loved her character in Deva.
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for his successful Malayalam films, Deva is described as an action-packed movie filled with excitement and drama. The film is set to release on January 31.
